Multi-Syllable Rhymes

Once a rare treat, multis are now being used in hip-hop more and more frequently as lyricists constantly try to outdo each other. Multis aren’t necessarily harder to write than normal rhymes. They just take extra effort. You’ll find that the effort is well worth it. Spit multis, and get your vitamin C.
What are multis?

Multi is short for “multi-syllable rhyme.” Multis are phrases in which more than one syllable rhymes. Multis can be double, triple, quadruple (etc…) rhymes.

Normal rhyme: cat / hat
Multi rhyme: my cat / hi-hat
Or a longer multi: bit my cat / hit the hi-hat

His trademark delivery (in which he slows down and emphasizes the rhyming words above all others) works well when he slips in clever multis. Why Use Multis?

Multis are hallmarks of all the dopest flows, and all the best rappers use them. They are more complex and more impressive than normal rhymes and so command a lot more respect. Multis add variation to your verse and will help you craft better rhymes.

The content and concept is more important. You don't write lines just to fit that description. I see your ideas are all over the place. One bar you talk about something, the next you talk about another. Let me give you an example of something I wrote with multis AND concept

One too many times I stay awake while the city sleeps
Calculating a thousand steps when all I need is a leap of faith
Propose to my inner demons like a fallen angel deserving a second chance
Expectations reduces life’s expectancy to a staggering percentage

The whole 4 bars talks about struggles. I understand that freestyles are meant to be flexible but how stupid do you sound when you can't be on point. You think labels are going to sign you just because your sentences are made with multis. Go study Wu-Tang Clan, Nas and Mos Def.
