Bien sûr!

First, "N'importe" means "Any" so literally:

n'importe quoi = anything
n'importe qui = anyone
n'importe comment = anyhow
n'importe où = anywhere
n'importe quand = anytime
n'importe quel/quelle + nom = any + noun

Here are some sentences:

Mon voisin est tellement naïf, il croirait n'importe quoi ! = My neighbour is so naive, he would believe anything!

Je ne peux pas peindre avec n'importe quoi (= avec n'importe quel pinceau) ! = I can't paint with anything (= with any paintbrush)!

Tu peux me prendre quelque chose à manger s'il te plaît ? N'importe quoi fera l'affaire. = Can you take something to eat for me please? Anything will be just fine.

"- Je suis sûr que vous étiez au courant. = I'm sure you were aware of it
- N'importe quoi (= ce n'est pas vrai), je ne savais pas." = It's not true, I didn't know

It can also be used about a situation going out of control or out of mind:

C'est (complètement) n'importe quoi ! = It's a (total) nonsense!

***Also, among young people you can hear the word "nawak". It has the same meaning than "n'importe quoi" but it's colloquial.

C'est nawak ce qu'il dit... = c'est n'importe quoi, ce qu'il dit = He talks rubbish

It's the same in farsi !!!

Mohem (="important") + nist (= "ne) + tchi/tche/key/ki/ va gheire ("quoi/quoi/quand/qui", etc.)

Thus :

No, because if you wanna say "no matter what" it will be a bit different

No matter what = Qu'importe (quite formal) / Peu importe ; there are placed in the beginning of the sentence, and you can add "quand même" (it's like "even though" in English except that you don't need to add something after) or "de toute façon" (= anyway) if you want to insist/emphasize.

ex:
Qu'importe, je vais aller à la fête (quand même)
Peu importe, je vais aller à la fête / Peu importe, je vais (quand même/de toute façon) aller à la fête / Peu importe, je vais aller à la fête (quand même/de toute façon).
