In English, there's 'Tag questions'. Exactly that 'tag' is transleted into Bulgarian as 'nali'. For example:

You're american, aren't you? Ti si amerikanec, nali? Ти си американец, нали?
You don't know Spanish, do you? Ti ne znaesh Ispanski, nali? Ти не знаеш Испански, нали?

And so on ...This 'li' is a question word that we put it inside of the questions (not in the all questions), I mean that there's 'inversion' in English, but we have the both - 'inversion' and that 'li'. Let me give you some examples:

Is that so? Taka li? Така ли?
Is he coming? Shte dojde li? Ще дойде ли?
Are you ready? Gotovi li ste? Готови ли сте?

    here other cases of using/usage:
I don't know if/whether he's coming. Ne znam shte dojde li. Не знам ще дойде ли.
either/whether today or tomorrow... dnes li, utre li ... днес ли, утре ли...
as soon as/when winter sets in... dojde li zimata... дойде ли зимата...
once he starts talking... pochne li da govori... почне ли да говори...
I wonder who/when/where... Chudya se koj/koga/kyde li... Чудя се кой/кога/къде ли...
He's singing for all he is worth (I mean "he's singing away"). Toj pee li, pee. Той пее ли, пее.

    Here questions without 'li':
Where are you? Kyde si? Къде си?
Who is this man? Koj e tozi chovek? Кой е този човек?
What is she cooking? Kakvo gotvi tq? Какво готви тя?
What is your name? Kak se kazvash? Как се казваш?

    And etc ...

I hope that I made myself clear to you and you understood the whole stuff. If you have any questions - ask us.

Само една поправка..защо wonder си го превел като"чудех се"? То си е сегашно време чудя се. wonder=чудя се; wondered=чудех се

Аз мисля, че той не трябва да се включва, защото нашия приятел PROPEL тотално ще се шашардиса и ще му е много по-трудно да научи български, защото разликата между български и македонски (който от филологична гледна точка не е език, а смесица между български език, македонски диалект и сръбски език с някакво подобие на българската и сръбската азбука) е тънка.

I said that he`s confusing you, because he`s saying words in macedonian, and the line between macedonian and bulgarian is like a hair. And you`ll be confused. I know how difficult is to you, but with him it will be more difficult for you. That was my point

Sorry I wrote my phylological opinion (coz I`m a phylologist lol ) And I think yes, that you shouldn`t. Macedonians have their language. OK. I`m OK with that, I don`t deal with politics, but please don`t get macedonian things in a bulgarian thread, ecspecially in this thread, which is for bulgarian language and your bulgarian isn`t that good, so don`t confuse PROPEL and anybody who wants to learn our language

And I wrote "mixture of bulgarian language, macedonian bulgarian dialect and serbian language with some kind cyrilic bulgarian and serbian alphabet" to be exact

And I didn`t translate that to english, because I think our political differences are not for this thread, not for this forums, and not for nonslavic speakers.

these verbs are disgusting, I'm such verbs. The last Englih unit (at school I mean) was for dead people, morgue, blood ... (puke) But if you don't study it, there's no way to know these words.
