I was in AE yesterday and i heard a cover of "Your A Mean One Mr. Grinch" does anyone know who sand it, all I know is that it was sung by a girl. But i couldn't see who cause it was plaing one of the pink give screens...

does anyone knows who sings "success story" it also says something about new jersey ..i cant find this song anywhere ..pleease help! thanx.

i can't WAIT for the new spring trans dvd - this one is driving me crazy :-p the other day i was eating at a resturant with my boyfriend and all the songs they played were 80s songs - during hey mickey we heard the kitchen staff clapping and i was singing along to she drives me crazy. anyway, that made me realize that ae should make an awesomely bad 80s dvd - i know my store would have fun with it because we're always making up funny dances and such. i remember even before i worked at american eagle one of their dvds was like a flashback one - they would play michael jackson's smooth criminal and then they would play alien ant farm's smooth criminal. that would be better than what they've been giving us lately.

So I was in the store yesterday and I saw a music video with a girl that kind of looked like Fergie and she was behind a store counter maybe.

Very colorful video and pop song.
I went through Fergie's music and it doesn't seem to be her and I went through the playlists and nothing is ringing a bell. HELP!

we got the spring trans dvd today.. it seems relatively shorter than the holiday one and it looked like pretty much all new songs (well, some of the songs we've played before - by "new" i mean not on the holiday dvd). soulja boy is on this one.. my managers will love that.. we have a video of them doing the dance on the cash and wrap during the last floorset.

I was trying to find this song, put i cant find it anywhere. I think the lyrics/chours goes like "And i remember your name and face while your judge..." Thats all i know. Anyone know what is called? Thanks

I was in AE today and I heard this song it went like "Be who you are" or something like that.
It was on the TV. The video was black and white. The bottom of the TV said PARTY and follow your heart at the bottom but I'm not sure if that had anything to do with the band or the song though.

So I worked 230P-130A today and when we closed at 10 we popped in the new CD after everyone left at like 1045 for Spring 2008 that is going to start being played in the store starting Monday the 24th and it totally sucks. They kept about 5 songs off the current CD and the only "decent" song on there is Soulja Boy and even that song gets on my nerves so I can't wait to listen to it for 40 hours a week over and over ....NOT lol

Twice I went to AE Store this x-mas shopping, and hear a song that the store workers cannot help me with. The song seems to be a X-mas version of "Rapper's Delight" by the Sugarhill Gang.

Can Anyone help .... :}

Not sure but based on that description it sounds like "Christmas Rappin" by Kurtis Blow. The only other song that sounds anything like that would be "Christmas Is" by Run DMC

Also to add the new cd has the following that I remember off the top of my head...

The Last Goodnight - Pictures of You
Soulja Boy - Crank Dat
Fergie- Clumsy (off current cd)
Along with 4 or 5 other songs on the current CD

Those are all I can think off off the top of my head and there are some other really strange songs on there like Reggae and Techno sounding stuff

They were singing at a party and the name of the band sounded like "pendettes" or something like that. Also they kept repeating phrases throughout the whole song like "clap your hands" Please help!!

i was at the store today and heard a song by a band that was all guys; the part of the video i saw was black and white, and the band was dressed in black. the song was pop-rock like, the lead singer wasn't playing an instrument, it was really catchy, and i liked it but i don't know the name of the band or song, and i can't remember the lyrics. except there may have been something about the end of the world (???). but maybe not. the song did sound familiar, like i may have heard it somewhere else before. hope somebody can help me out! thanks!
