Yes, maybe I should have said. My experience from the radio was a 6 hour bus ride where two young boys were listening to the same cassette over and over again. :|

I admit to liking few songs, but I'm not a big fan of it.

Hmmm.... Crisa may disagree, but I found it under the "manele" category when I searched for it.

@ Crisa: Again, sorry for the confusion because when I downloaded an EtnoHit album, I found it on a manele site, nu mă întreba de ce!

The player they were using looked like one from the 1980s. I think the cassettes were blanks with recordings on them. Probably from CDs.

They were nice kids actually. They gave up there seat for me and my friend to sit and they sat in the back where the spare tire was stored.

@Dragonfly -you don't need to be sorry ..you're not a native so it's normal to make such confusions . And I know that there is a site with manele but you can also download other genres ....

Btw if you checked Morandi and like them I can send to you their 1st album like I've said in chit chat is their best album .


@Stevo -I've never heard the songs you've posted but

Costi Ioniţă in his beginnings was a manele singer but he changed into dance singer/composer/producer so I"m guessing that the song could be a dance one if it"s a new one.
Nicolae Guţă is a manele singer.

Crisa, I stumbled across that Nicolae Guţă song on Youtube so you should check it out there if you want to hear it.

Costi has his own group, Sahara, featuring Bulgarian singer Andreea and Jamaican/American rapper Buppy Brown.
Sometimes Costi just features in some of Andreea's songs. I reccomend them both to you.

Stevo no offence but I can't listen to Guta ....I've never did , well only when I'm on the bus and the driver puts his manele cd and I have to bear it until I get home even in parties I'll be outside until the manele is over

And about Costi I sow some video of him with a blonde and a black guy when zapping on the Romanian music channels but I haven't listen the songs cuz it didn't impressed me
