There are perfect tenses in bulgarian. They are just rarely used. Actually there are 9 tenses in bulgarian:
Сегашно просто (Present simple / Present continious):
Говоря с него. (I speak with him. / I am speaking with him.)
Минало свършено. (Past simple)
Говорих с него. (I spoke with him.)
Минало несвършено. (Past continious)
Говорех с него. (I was speaking with him.)
Минало неопределено (Present perfect):
Говорил съм с него. (I have spoken with him.)
Минало предварително (Past perfect):
Бях говорил с него. (I had spoken with him.)
Бъдеще просто (Future simple / Future continious):
Ще говоря с него. (I will speak with him. / I will be speaking with him.)
Бъдеще предварително (Future perfect):
Ще съм говорил с него. (I will have spoken with him.)
The next two don't exist in English. It's very hard for me to translate the last 2. Maybe someone else can...
Бъдеще време в миналото (Future in the past):
Щях да говоря с него.
Бъдеще предварително време в миналото (Future perfect in the past):
Щях да съм говорил с него.
This can be helpful (one of the columns contains bulgarian translations):

Душата ми не е пътека- да минеш и да си заминеш.... Душата ми не е камина- да се стоплиш и да си отидеш.. Душата ми е Божи храм- влезеш ли оставаш там!
What's the difference between 'Ne razbiram' and 'Nishto te rasbrah' ?
I know both means 'I don't understand' in English but are there particular situations when you use either one or the other ?
"Ne razbiram" means I don't understand, while "Nishto ne razbrah" means I didn't understand/get anything :]
Ungir kallar, kátir kallar, gangiđ upp á gólv dansiđ lystilig!
Also, you can use 1 negative form in the standard english sentence, but in the bulgarian one, you can put more than one (often 2, 3 or 4) negative forms. Let me give you an example:
Nikoj ne znae nishto ---> No one knows anything/ Everyone don't know anything (here how it looks with english words, if I translate it word for word "No one don't know nothing")
C'est la vie!

hey Matt u still have some errors
why do u think "momche" should be"momcheta"?
the definitive for the neuter gender is "yo".I told u that words ending on"e" are in the neuter.I thibk u haven't been too careful.
Also "krasota" will be "krasotata".And as lopatka told u,prijatel and zritel weren't done too.
I'm not so content.I wanna it to be perfect![]()
