What is the difference between saying "azi" and "astăzi"? Is there a different usage for each, or are they interchangeable?

Minä olen horjunut, epäilen enemmän kuin ennen
Mutta halusit ihmisen, sen viat, sen heikkouden
You are right, they mean the same thing and are interchangeable . azi is the short form of astăzi, only shorter.![]()

I'm glad you wrote this above, because it brings a question to mind I've never before considered..
I believe a mulţumi requires dative pronouns.
While I'm not sure, I believe the correct form would actually be either vă mulţumesc lui Kmmy şi lui Mike (if you are speaking to them) and le mulţumesc lui Kimmy şi lui Mike (if you are speaking about them)..
Although it may be unclear, I'm actually asking this as a question, and am looking forward to the answer..
Thanks
dave
@dave: you are right about the case when is spoken about us, but when he thanks us should be : multumesc kmmy si mike.... there's no need to use pe/lui or smth else.
* i didnt even see that "pe"
@dragonfly: you are welcome( sorry for the late answer )

Good to know. I guess it is exactly as in english, where if I were to thank you directly, I'd say "thank you kmmy" where if I were to talk ABOUT you and thank you, I'd say "thanks to kmmy"
So, again, speaking to you and not about you.... Thank you kmmy!!!

Can someone please help me understand the difference between "a veni" and "a sosi"?
De multe ori tăcerea e mai bună decât răspunsul.
there's not really a difference... hmm let's say that "a sosi" is synonymous with "a ajunge" and is more like "to arrive/to get " and a veni is "to come".
an ex: the bus arrived/got on time . - autobuzul a sosit la timp
the bus came in time - autobuzul a venit la timp
multumesc frumos Kmmy![]()

If you want to say, "I hope it pleases all of you", do you say "Sper că vă place"?

you can say both "sper ca va place" and "sper ca va place tuturor" ... the 2nd though will accentuate that "all of you"
It's something like don't try it at home. I may be wrong though![]()

How would I say, "Could you translate this please?" in Romanian?
