Yes in the movies are no restriction and it's better this way ...They can portrait the real like better

They use the words but we don't hear them because of the biip sound , and of course they broadcast them after 10 pm

If my mother will here the guy from 3 video would start cry

    My favorite is this one:

"**** Dunezău maica ta" = "(i hope) that God will **** your mother" (imperative)
Well tell me if there is any equivalent in any other language???

"Băgaş-ar Cristos **** în tine animal" = "(i hope) that Hristos will get his **** in you animal" (imperativ)
Well tell me if there is any equivalent in any other language???

Even if the romanian are Christians they are whit more dangerous in swearing than any type of satanism.

Looool, I see your point, we don't hear this very often in English

(I think you made a few mistakes in typing, by the way)

The French swear a lot, though perhaps not quite as severely and Spanish-speakers also swear... In the US here, we hear the F word and mother and shıt and damn and crap and other such words... It's a shame that cursing is more common than before. "Suck" is now too common :S

LoL i didn't make any mistakes in romanian, this are "archaic" ways of speaking
which aren't correct and aren't used in formal speaks
here do you ask me that i made a mistake?
    F u t ă = să te f u t ă (future tense,incorrect)---used in Ardeal and Banat regions

    look:
    mănâncă=eat (imperative,correct form)
mâncă= eat (imperative, incorrect form)---used in Banat and Ardeal regions
    ....
ai mâncat?=do you eat? (correct form)
mâncaseşi?=do you eat? (incorrect form)---used in Oltenia region
    ...
să te mănânce lupi=(i hope) that the wolfs will eat you (imperative, correct form)
mâncatear lupi=(i hope) that the wolfs will eat you(imperative, incorrect form) used in Moldova and Bucovina region(i believe)

And are more of this expressions in romanian language which are incorrect but used in different regions.

NNA excuse me but you're wrong. Mâncaseşi is correct . If it wasn't correct why do we have "mai mult ca perfectul " as a tense. No grammar book says that it is incorrect. But if it looks incorrect to you , that's another thing. Is true that it is used in the Southern part of the country .

    mâncaseşi?=had you eaten ?

You've spelled mâncatear wrong, the right form is mânca-te-ar and it is correct too. .It's used in other regions not only in Moldova and Bucovina.

And it doesn't mean that if the expressions are regionalisms they're incorrect .

Well isn't used in formal speech
    "mâncaseşi?=had you eaten ?"
I was weak at grammar, math is my power :P

    "mânca-te-ar"
I start to believe that this thing "-" is used just in school, anyway nobody gives a thing for it :P

Of course mai mult ca perfectul is used in formal speech.

Mai mult ca perfectul = past perfect

No "cratima" is not used only in school , it is used every time we write Romanian (if we want to write correct). And trust me is very bad if nobody gives a thing for it ...

    Well I'm a grammar girl

question for you all: "sau" means both "or and "and", correct?

how can you distinguish between the uses?

Nere: Are you sure? I've only heard it as "or" so far...

Marian: hyphens (cratime - ) are used commonly and are properly placed in contractions, where English uses apostrophes ('). And by mistakes I meant Dumnezeu, you forgot the 'n'. Also, isn't it Hristos in Romanian? You had typed 'Cristos' first. It's Christ in English

Crisa: Oooh, ok, starting to understand

It is "Cristos",the people from that area use "Cristos" and not "Hristos"

Mergi la teatru sau la cinema?(Do you go at theater or at cinema?

S-au dus la fotbal. They went at football.
    S-au bătut.They beaten each other.

    sau=or
s-au=past participle for third person plural

Dragonfly- Good to know. The priest that taught us religion in the elementary school told us that Iisus Hristos is correct. Many Romanians use Cristos instead .I think it is because of the old translations of the Latin name Iesus Christus. But in the churches the priests use Hristos.

NNA why ? Do you wanna see how grammatically correct i write on messenger chat .I hate the sh instead of ş, k instead of c and other things. I never use them
