Learning Serbian /Croatian/Bosnian

Hello all!

I also want to learn some serbian, I am reading all the posts in this thread and found a lot of little tips, for instance I realize now that Ja Volim Te Jos means I still love you nice!

My native tongue is spanish so I can also help people that require or want to learn some spanish.

BTW my handle is one of many spanish words for hummingbird, wonder how will sound in serbian!

Hummingbird is KOLIBRI, if you ask that...

And for all - when you're speaking with some boy/men whose name (or nickname in my case ) ends with A or calling him - A becomes O (it's cases again)
And correct form will be Vlado hvala ti puno


And my real name is Vladimir (I see we're becoming intimate )

and if it ends with consonant you add an "e", am i right?
that would be Vladimire hvala ti puno, right?

Thank you Vlada and yes! handy and amazing that another spanish word for hummingbird is COLIBRI.

I was using a serbian-english dictionary available trough Babylon and I thought that pistanje was a good serbian translation , you can find me as Pistanje in youtube.

Some words of neuter gender have that "weird" plural ...

child-dete, pl. form: deca
foal-ždrebe, pl. form: ždrebad
calf-tele, pl. form: telad
lamb-jagnje, pl. form: jagnjad
chicken-pile, pl. form: pilad (but pilići is used more often)

Word "that"(taj-m.g., ta-f.g., to-n.g.), when used with plural forms of nouns of neuter gender, has the same forms as for the feminine gender's singular forms.

3. (toj) burad-i
4. (tu) burad
