my dear,

in the lyrics there is a man or a boy, which we understand from
what he says "if I let you go may people not call me a man"

he seems to be much in Love with a girl and has done everything
to make her Love him, and very upset about how he has changed
everyting he used to do.

seemingly the girl doesn't respond back, and appearantly she's
moving out of the town.

I guess this is not a type of lyrics you've expected it to be.
