Dear Spring, i think there are some old words in that song. Am i right? That's what i've found on the Internet.
Moj dilbere means "my darling" in an old way, unused today, they said.
But the others words ... i really can't find them on the internet.
Maybe somebody will try to translate.
You know, Spring, just try it, even if it doesn't sound good, just to help me make an idea about the content of the song ...
There is a connection between this song and another serbian song - don't remember the name - something about .... dawn that see him kissing his darling, the dawns that would have never came if they would knew...?

I don't know too much about these songs.
I heard Moj dilbere sang by Tose Proesi, for the first time.
And then i tried to find a translation so that's the way i found Da zna zora.

Let me explain! I live in Bucharest, but I was born inResita, a city near by Timisoara, if you heard about. On the border between Romania and Serbia. So i listened serbian music a lot, i grew up with serbian music.
Last month i read about Tose's death, listened his music for the first time in my life and i liked a lot: his music, his life, all that he did to help people. I am still impressed in a positive way.
So i looked for his music, i have more than 80 songs of Tose.
I can't understand why i didn't hear about him till his death. I really don't know if Romanians hear about Tose. It sounds sad. Like i have lost something.
I would really like to listen more serbian music. If you cand recommend me, do it, pls! Thx.

What's for serbian music Carla.. Well it all depends on what kind of music you're in touch in general..
If you like some old rock i can recommend you Prljavo Kazaliste, Riblja Corba, EKV...
If you like something newer... I personally like Neverne Bebe.. Their music is so soft, and the lyrics are great.. They are mostly ballads..
Another singer that is one of my favs is definitely Djordje Balasevic ..

If you'd like something newer.. Well there is always serbian folk music.. I'm not in touch with that kind of music though, so someone else can recommend you songs of that genre
