Rhythmsticks

too much asphalt below my feet
sweating away on the rhythm of the street
music in my head, Pink Floyd and Lou Reed
blisters taped, melting in the heat

here I go again, day after day
keeping up appearances?,- no way!
do you want to go with me? just stay
get into the rhythm - no delay!

summer observation

she smokes a cigarette hanging from her lips
a bunch of rusted keys is hanging from her hips
her painted skin is painted by the summersun
she mumbles something on the phone about how it begun
her eyes are hidden somewhere behind her well tanned face
her headphones seem to mock with her cause she looks out of place
her shoes too high and clumsy,her tartan skirt too short
gazing at the ship arriving at the port

(and she says )

the crowd starts pouring out

tell me baby, tell me,
you won't leave anymore
every day without you
is like a freaky wind
raging and destroying
the peaceful mood I'm in


the crowd starts pouring out, a noisy awful lot
she looks in all directions and even prays to God
that he'll remember her and will come straight her way
not mumbling an excuse he'll arrive another day
she sweats under the summersun, smoking a cigarette
hopes he'll be beside her tonight with her in bed
she smells of orange blossom, her handbag is too small
the ship lies there forgotten,but now she hears his call:

a field of medusas
dancing with passion
is waving at me

expose their uglyness
bodybuilders need attention
to impress

writing messages for fun

The Sea, what a beautiful way to describe your thoughts of it!

Egyptian Dance, to me... this is about walking between or being part of the riots over there. What dark yet sarcastic way to represent it... if that's what it is about. Good

on the beach, the ending. What a strange ending, I really liked that.

and you say it all very well. But i'm not getting emails from posts here eventho i peek at least 2 or 3 times a week....guess i should comment a lot more often

shoes littered on a square
people gone, but were you there?
colours red, maroon and black
tell me:she ain't coming back
monstrous riddle thrown at me
I admit that I can't see
noone there to take my hand
just a grin, my only friend
