Can you translate this song to polish or english for me? Hvala! Dziękuję!

    Ipak Pozelim Neko Pismo

I nije mi važno s kime noćas
Slušaš ovu pjesmu i plačes li.

    Ipak poželim neko pismo,
    Ipak mada zajedno nismo.

    Ipak mada zajedno nismo.

Ipak Pozelim Neko Pismo (I still desire for some letter)

    Nisam te izgleda volio mnogo,
It looks like I didnt love you much
Everything is like before, but I am not yours anymore
I nije mi važno s kime noćas
And I dont care with who
Slušaš ovu pjesmu i plačes li.
You are listening this song tonight and if you are crying.

    Ipak poželim neko pismo,
I still desire for some letter
    Ipak mada zajedno nismo.
Still, although we are not together.

Piši, piši ko nekad dva-tri reda,
Write, write like you used to, two- three lines
Write, I know you are in hurry and you wont have time
Piši, opiši mjesta gdje nas dvoje skupa
    Write, describe the places where
    Nikada nećemo ići.
    We will never go together.

Ti si zadnji romantik na ovom svijetu
You are the last romanticist on this world
Što se sporo kreće i čeka raj.
Which is moving slowly and waiting for heaven.
    Malo si samo promijenila glumce,
You have just changed performers a bit,
Al' isti je komad, isti zaplet i kraj.
But its the same play, same entanglement and end (finish).

Hehe, Bijelo Dugme is one of my favourite bands ever... I can't pick my favourite song, all are good! But live version of „Ipak...” is wonderful!! Brega’s guitar sound is so hypnotic... I love this!

My Croatian... Well... yesterday I learned days of the week... So... ponedjeljak, utorak, srijeda... hmm, and then... oh yeaah, beautiful language

    Thumbs up

Wow, this thread made register at once. I studied in Warszawa more 20 years ago. Some of my best holidays have been in Croatia. I have - I believe - everything with Bijelo Dugme. One of the best books ( apart perhaps from some serbian-bosnian-croatian ones ? ) about Goran Bregovic is written in Polish by Grzegorz Brzozowicz. In this book some Bijelo Dugme's songs are translated into Polish. BUT one of my absolute favourite songs is not. I have tried myself to translate it, but.....The Song is Lipe Cvatu. I would be very happy if you could translate that one. Hvala.

Bijelo Dugme - Lipe cvatu/ Lime-trees(Lindens) are blooming

Ljeto ide, kako si mi ti/ Summer is passing, how are you
Gdje si, s kim si, da mi je znati/ Where are you, with who, wish I can know that
Ko li mi te ugrijao/ Who has warmed you up
Dok je zimus snjeg padao/ While snow had been felling this winter
Ko li mi te ljubio, grom ga ubio/ Who have been kissing you, let the thunder kill him
Baš me briga gdje si otišla/ I dont care where have you gone
Ravna ti je Jugoslavija/ You have whole Yugoslavia in front of you
Baš me briga, nisi dijete/ I dont care, you are not a child
Sve u korist tvoje štete/ (You are doing) Everyting for your own loss
Samo tvoje, al' i moje srce boluje/ But your, and mine too, heart is suffering
    Lipe cvatu/ Lime-trees are blooming
Sve je isto k'o i lani, hej/ Everything is same like last year, hey
Samo srce moje i srce tvoje/ Only your heart and my heart
U ljubavi više ne stoje/ Do not stand in love anymore
Zaklinjem se dušom i Bogom/ I swear with my soul and to God
Krvi mojom plavom seljačkom/ With my blue peasants blood
Zaklinjem se, i umrijet ću/ I swear, and I will die
Ali ja te tražit neću/ But I wont look for you
Neću, neću, a umrijet ću, a umrijet ću/ I wont, I wont, and I will die, and I will die
    Lipe cvatu/ Lime-trees are blooming
Sve je isto ko i lani, hej / Everything is same like last year, hey
Samo srce moje i srce tvoje/ Only your heart and my heart
U ljubavi više ne stoje/ Do not stand in love anymore

Yea, this one I also like a lot . I am not sure if there's any croatian books about Bijelo Dugme, if you want I can search for it. Hope you like the translation

Maybe someone help me with translation? I try translate "Pjesma za malu pticu" by Bijelo Dugme (to Polish), but I have problem with a few words. It's a lyrics:

    "Pjesma z amalu pticu"
    Svu noć
    Kucala je na mom prozoru,
    Trideseta jesen,
    Prstima od kiše,
    A u zoru,
    Dok si me budila,
    Ptico malena.
    Ti lijepa kao armija,
    Ispod zastava,
    A ja, komadić opsjene
    Htio sam ti reći
    Bježi, bježi od mene.
    Bože,Bože, šteta za nas oboje.
    Sve bi
    Bilo možda i drugačije
    Da smo se ranije
    Sreli ti i ja.
    Nisi smijela nikada,
Ptico malenaIz moje ruke ni jesti,
    Ni vodu piti.
Jer ja nosim jedan tužan ugarak
    Negdje na dnu grudi.
    I ovo lice stranca
    I hiljadu bora
    I jedan ruzmarin
    Koji ne vene.
    Bježi bježi od mene.

So... What that is mean "prstima od kise"? It's propably something about rain, but I don't know what... Hm, what is "opsjene", "ugarak", "hiljadu", "vene"?

Hvala vam puno i veliki pozdrav!

    Welcome back!

I will try to help you with those words

"prstima od kise" - with fingers of rain
    "opsjena" - illusion
"ugarak" - hm..I think something like lampblack
    "hiljadu" - 1000 (thousand)
"vene" - fades (I think it can be translated like that)

    so...now u can complete translation?

Hm... "hiljadu" is serbian word? Because I know "tisuć" = "thousand", but in croatian. Yes?

Yes, hiljada/hiljadu is the Serbian word for tisuć
I'm stronger than the tricks played on your heart. We look at them together then we take 'em apart. Adding up the total of a love that's true, multiply life by the power of two.

    Ok, thx. :-)
And... "sreli" it's form"sresti" (sresti se)?
