Amethyste thank you, and guys that's a great mix of different rhythms in those 6 songs, and Amethyste, Little Green Bag i've never heard before and it is such an interesting song, so unique, was a real experience listening to that one!

mkay so from metal (my 'adult' roots) to.......well when you're a teen or pre-teen girl, almost every 'great' song has to be a dance song and that's where we are right now remembering some songs that were really popular with me and my crew in the mid 90's.

A few posts up, I commented, "Light (Metal)..."
And I later added (offline), "I don't listen to Heavy Metal."
She quipped; "Yeah? Judas Priest."
I replied, "Huh? No. Judas Priest is Hard Rock, not Metal."
She laughed. "They're right up there with Black Sabbath and Metallica."

Soooo I don't know as much about music as I thought I did. Apparently I do like mainstream Heavy Metal. I'm just not the grunge-y thrash-y sludge-y type.

Now playing: My favorite Hard-Heavy-Rock-Metal band. With (still on theme) some BAD-*** GUITAR movements sprinkled throughout.

Yes you're right but we all have in our minds the impression that Sabbath were the beginners of this particular genre.
