How many more lives are gonna be lost

A much more direct rap. This was something I had come up with when I had newly started writing so its needs alot of polishing up

VERSE 1:

They bayin 4 ur blood eyes filled with hate,
In front of u ur life is lying in dire straits,
U wantin 2 run but know u cant escape,
So u start beggin 4 mercy but it’s too late.
How long u gonna spend trying to run from your fate,
They only continuing a legacy you helped create,
U killed their brother now ur facing the same situation
U was angry but murder was never the solution
And asking for forgiveness aint gonna achieve you salvation
Cause that was someone’s son that u had just killed
And no matter how much you repent
the hole u left aint never gonna get filled.
Now ur on ur knees but u've lost the fight,
Shuda thought twice before takin ur knife out that night,
leavin him on the streets where he later died from severe bleedin
But he also had a bro in jail and now he's seethin

U did wrong, so they do wrong
It only leads to more wrong
How many more lives need 2 be lost
cause tempers fray wivout thinkin bout the cost

VERSE 2:

And violence is a game where nobody wins,
You might think its over but the karma jus spins,
And When u least expect it gets you pinned,
Tellin you its payback time for ur sins.
Now parents worry their kid may not make it back from school,
Cause a guy on the street completely lost his cool,
An argument broke out he was anger consumed,
And a life taken away in the feud that ensued.
He had developed a heart that was nasty and cruel,
For who turnin to crime wasnt a choice but a rule,
Cause his life had become an unhealthy package,
Saw all the fights that ended in a broken marriage.
And he would try to block it out by hiding in the garage,
but he couldn’t repair it, so decided to defer it,
until one day the pain ultimately turned savage,
And an innocent had to pay for the damage.

CHORUS:

He did wrong, so they do wrong
It only leads to more wrong
How many more lives need 2 be lost

Hi, nice rhyme. I think you should adjust some parts though, like you say it needs some polishing up.

I would do something else with this part because right now it doesn't flow:

Here are 2 sentences that I really love because they both make sense AND rhyme very good:
"Shuda thought twice before takin ur knife out that night,

That's what I mean with good storytelling and good rhyming at the same time.
