    Default αρέσω

I'm having trouble understanding how to use the verb "αρέσω"!
"μου αρεσει" or "μ'αρεσει" means "it pleases me" because is has the third person singlular ending "ει" and "μου"
So what does αρέσω mean? Does it mean "I please"?
Like "σ'αρέσω" would mean "I please you"?

"αρέσω" means "I am pleasing to"

"μου αρέσει" or "μ'αρέσει" means "I like it" (literally: "it is pleasing to me")

"σ'αρέσω" means "you like me" (literally: "I am pleasing to you")

"την αρέσω" means "she likes me" (literally: "I am pleasing to her")

Αρεσω means I'm liked. Litterally speaking.
