Question Solved: I need help in identifying an oldies song

I need help in identifying a title of an oldies song. I have last heard this song about 20 years ago and I still know the tune, but can't think of the actual words of the song. I think that this song is from the 60's. As I can remember, the last 2 words in the chorus (used 3 times) are "run away, run away, run away" It could also be "go away go away go away." I wish that I had more clues. Thank you very much.

That's not it. The song sounds like it's by a male group. Thanks anyway.

Try "Runaway" by Del Shannon (1961)

    Yes, and I wonder,
    A-where she will stay-ay,
    My little runaway,
    Run, run, run, run, runaway.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title

This is from 1984, but another classic:

    Bronski Beat - Smalltown Boy

Hardly. Though Jimmy Somerville does sing "run away" 3 (odd) times in 5 total, each even time is a "turn away"

    Default Still not it

Those last 2 suggestions are still not it. It's definately not 80's. Thanks anyway.

WOOHOO! You're quite welcome. I'm surprised it was 1979...I would have figured it was a little newer.

Thanks for the search request. I like that song, and enjoyed watching the video.
