I wonder that the "what for in 20,000 kisses" should be "what four and 20,000 kisses".
Although it sounds strange, there has to be 4,000 more kisses so that it has altogether 24,000 kisses.

It's more difficult for me to figure it out than to do linear algebras. lol

I listened to the beginning of the song a few times, and I realize the phrase could be "with four and 20000 kisses...", but the accent is terrible therefore I can't be totally sure about that!
