i ll be really thankful if someone helps me in this matter.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi there!

What you have requested, in my opinion, takes a master of both Persian literature and English to translate. I was hoping someone would do this for you but since the post was not replied I thought I would give it a try! Because many words in such poems are applied metaphorically, a word-by-word-translation wouldn't make much sense however I hope it will help you at least get an impression of the poem!

    1
    God protect you from sorrow
Forbid you be taken captive by sorrow like us (protect you from sorrow of love)
Come to cure the painful heart of the lover (your lover)
Cause no one else can help my painful heart
You have caused my heart to suffer from sorrow of love
Go.. God forbid your heart suffer from pain and sorrow
For the sake of the painful hearts of loyalty victims
The God of love forbid you become a victim of the path of loyalty

    2
last nite that you had kindly come to the roof (metaphorically)
i saw you had come better that the full moon (you were shinier than the harvest moon)
so as to let people see your candle-like shining face- which would light the night- ..
.. you had put on a morning face at night (looking like dayspring)
tonight it seems like the moon has come to the earth from the sky
once I opened my eyes you had come to the roof (you had risen)
others worrying about me… me wondering at you
which of them had you come to watch?!

    Dear cametaa
i am in short of words to say thanks for this great help. i know its hard to translate poetry from one to other language because its impossible to mantain beauty of language. but i was exactly in need of what you have written because i can read persian(i am Urdu soeaker) and i can understand upto 60 %. so all i need was a rough idea to engoy this poetry.
    Thanks a lot

By permission of Cametaa, I also thought of giving this poem a try to translate it in Persian.

خدا ترا به غم ای شوخ مبتلا نکند

اسیر پنجهٔ اندوه و غم چو ما نکند

God may not afflict you with sorrow oh blithesome (referring to the beloved)

May not imprison you with grief and sorrow like us

بیا طبیب دل دردمند عاشق باش

که دست غیر به درد دلم دوا نکند

Come and be physician of my pitiful lover heart

As none can cure my heart's pain

تو کرده یی به غم عشق مبتلا دل ما

برو نصیب دلت درد و غم خدا نکند

It's your sorrow of love that has afflicted us!

Go! [and I pray that] God may not destine your heart with grief and sorrow

به حق خون دل کشتگان راه وفا

خدای عشق ترا کشتهٔ وفا نکند

For the [righteousness of] agony and pain of those martyred in the way of devotion

God may not sacrifice your love in the way of devotion

    Regards,

    The Sinner
