A difficult one - but someone may know it. So, please - does anyone know the song, the singer/s and/or the full lyrics from which the following lines come from? I think it may date from the 60s or 70s - or revived from even earlier! Please! Anybody?

Wurzlsepp, Thanks for posting - that wasn't the one! - I've been told by a friend that it was sung by Malcolm Vaughan around mid-50s

The next bit of the puzzle is to find the lyrics but no luck after trawling the net since teatime (5 pm).

The lines I suppled are correct word for word I'm sure - and 99% sure the lines are in correct order!
