Here's a song that I have been looking for for the past 40 years of so (no kidding). It's a couple singing a very soft, highly melodic ballad. The song was recorded in the 70's.
The male singer has a deep, rich voice, similar to Michael McDonald's. The female singer sounds a little bit like Syreeta. Here are a few of the word that I could pick up in a worn cassette that is now 40 years old.
Man : …..
Said we’re through
What more can I say
Sadly, I am (?)
This is (?)
They never do
When you loose your way
I was leaving you
When I’m without you
Sure I died, I died in silence
Talked about you
Leaving you
Girl Leaving you
Man I could’nt make it
I would walk my broken heart
You stole it
Take it
Man & Woman I got my mind baby
Only you
Man I’ll be strong to take it
I’ll be there just saying
Just saying
Just saying
Won’t you show me now
That we’re together
Here we are without this (?)
Show me now … Etc.
Thanks in advance for any help.
