Day to Day (Rap)

I don't know why I can't stop these thoughts from breaking in,
I just want this world to stop its rotational spin
freeze over and restart humanity all over again,
No matter how many 1 up's we get we won't win

Paranoid fantasies, learning knowledge only for degrees,
I wear a mask everytime there comes a breeze,
So why shouldn't you, why should I be the only one,
cause I'm not, you are too, don't lie you know it's true,
your transparent like a window that only I can see through

I want to play Russian roulette with all chambers loaded,
You can't help me my mind is far too corroded,
I lit a stick of dynamite and it imploded,
Sorry if this is graphic but I'm not gonna sugar coat it

Don't point the finger of blame cause this is all me,
I wrote it in an attempt to be set free,
but freedom is an illusion created by the TV,
So open your eyes and attempt to see how I see

It's hard living day to day,
It's hard putting forth any effort so I just sit and lay,
I don't know what I want anymore,
Don't think I want anything anymore,
I just want to rest cause trying to act happy is too much of a chore,
It's too much of an energy expenditure,
It's such a task waiting for something important to occur,
and it's gettin hard to be responsible and act mature

I'm constantly surrounded by suits and ties,
I'm constantly fed up with their daily lies,
It's what we call a nine to five,
In ten years it's what I call a ninth story nose dive,
Money, the root of all evil,
An economic interruption, the breeding ground of grime and corruption,
So I lay em out with a 12 guage full of shells that cause panic and disruption,
and if you think I'll miss that's a bad assumption

Don't get me wrong,
My friends were the best people I could've asked for,
For a long time they kept me strong,
kept me moving along this path and helped open every door,
I wouldn't trade them for anyone or anything,
and Mom and Dad I love you and this is why I sing,
Either one of you could of raised me better than most parents are doing,
I'm truly sorry that I yelled a lot,
and I know that you really didn't like the pot,
but hey at least I'm not locked up in jail and caught,
That's more than I ever wanted to put you through,
and knowing that we know nothing is the only way we can get a clue

I sit here trying to turn these thoughts off with every line,
Trying to turn seconds into minutes as the clock aligns,
Turning minutes into hours, while I talk about spittin blood on flowers,
and I'm gonna go out with a bang like those planes and towers
