Beautiful Persian Quotations

Thanks to desert rose, I've decided to create a thread and put beautiful Persian quotes into it. I hope everyone would enjoy it.

This was a request from my dear friend desert rose :

سهراب سپهری:

آنگاه که غرور کسی را له می کنی،
آنگاه که کاخ آرزوهای کسی را ویران می کنی،
آنگاه که شمع امید کسی را خاموش می کنی،
آنگاه که بنده ای را نادیده می انگاری ،
آنگاه که حتی گوشت را می بندی تا صدای خرد شدن غرورش را نشنوی...آنگاه که خدا را می بینی و بنده خدا را نادیده می گیری ،

دستانت رابسوی کدام آسمان دراز می کنی تابرای

When you destroy someone's castles in the air,
When you put out someone's candle of hope,

When you even close your ears for not hearing the sound of somebody's breaking (breaking of his pride),
