In Germany there are so many people who love Turkish music, but it’s not always easy for me to get and stay in contact to those, who share my own taste.

So each time someone dives deep in the ocean of Turkish and Turkic music here and fishes one beautiful pearl to lay it in my hand, this gives me the feeling not to be alone with my love to this music. I just want to post one single further dedication for Lunita and all the other unnamed pearl divers of ATL for giving me and others a home here

Thank you, Lunita, I don’t know if you will like this song with its Spanish tunes, but it always brings me your avatar in mind )

Wow. That's really cool. But, I'm not so "zor" that I didn't notice and love her dress. But I liked the music in the original very much too. Multsumesc.

VeryClever- Islak Islak...wonderful song, thank you for posting it here. amaryn, I'm not sure if you're familiar with much from Cem Karaca, but I hope you will like it and much more from him. Merci.

To the Palestinian people who deserve their own country.
To all of us here - to remind ourselves how precious life and love are.

To a certain most Noble Lady with a most Noble Soul.
You are really amazing. It's an honour to be included in this, you know I share your feelings for the others in your dedication. May they also remember how precious they are themselves.
I liked this song, beautiful orchestration. And these lines...
    We should embrace love
    more than anytime now.

    The world's on fire,
    we're approaching the end.
Come, hold on to my heart
    for all one is worth.

We should make love with passion,
or I don't exist, neither do you.

I loved this. Obrigada i Dziękuję! Don't worry, I'm watching your "dish" recommendation next.

    And last but also first:

That line sounds wrong in every way, you know that, right? şeker adam most of all just sounds like a man made out of candy (this is what a quick google search reveals) but it's no secret, you must be made out of candy

Bijan - this song goes exclusively to you.

IMO it's one of her best songs ever.
    The orchestral arrangements are fantastic!

    However:

    Parti,

I'd like to dedicate this splendid beige dress to you, dear.

I'm still pondering on "Best Supporting Dish" nomination ... counting on your help in this respect...

Last night, better to say this morning 5 A.M., I have founded a new association. It's called "Dark Lyrics Association". I should announce that we don't have any member yet, but for sure by proper advertisement, we can have some.

    1st advertisement:

Aşkın Nur Yengi, a very noble Turkish Singer, has passed all of our test for being granted the title of "Turkish Devotee to Dark Lyrics". She began her career with the help of the great Sezen Aksu in early 1990's.

To exemplify our points, we have selected three songs by her to show her talents in performing "Dark Lyrics".

Aşkın Nur Yengi - Karalım (1999)
    Lyrics and music: Serdar Ortaç
(There was a time when he wrote meaningful lyrics)

Aşkın Nur Yengi - Yazık (2007)
    Lyrics & Music: Sezen Aksu
(It's a new version of her 1990 song. We guess this new version is darker than the original with a dark music video)

    Translation is here:
    https://www.allthelyrics.com/forum/tu...tml#post306515

Aşkın Nur Yengi - Gözümün Bebeği (2011)
    Lyrics and music: Sezen Aksu
(you see, she shows her devotion even in her latest album)
***The translations have been done by Bijan Kardouni AKA veryclever1980***

I should very much like to apply for the membership card.

I trust my ATL presence speaks for me well enough.

I am looking forward to our first assembly,

    Yours darkly and lyrically,

    Red face For Huda

To the girl that has been there for me the past two weeks, listening to every single stupid complaint/rant I made (and God knows I made many!) with the patience of a saint, sustaining several headaches and earaches without uttering a single word, and being the amazing person she is...thank you

    Kolech 5osh!

    Smile For Bijan

I've never known what your turkish music taste is like, but the song itself is inconsequential, I just wanted to tell you thank you for all your kind words and your dedications and farsi translations. Even if I dont say anything it doesnt mean I didnt love them

p.s may I also apply for a membership form?

To the gorgeous bosnian, thank you for never failing to make me laugh with your comments.

^I'm working on blind faith (or deaf more like), I'm actually meant to be logging in data for the optical density and calculating clarity obtained, but I seem to be ahead of everyone so I thought I'd catch up a tad I hope the songs are what the names are meant to be
