Goodbye

THis is a little piece I wrote about my gran, she passed away last September. These words come straight from my heart.

The day my best friend died
I still well up every day

Thats because now you're gone
I find life is hard to bear
Its impossible to move on

Find me strength to get me through
can't bear my life without you
I lack the courage that you had
I lack the heart that you passed down to dad

I really felt I should have said
Everything in my head
At least I got to say goodbye
But more tears I am sure to shed
