i'm afraid to say so too !!! i didn't like it at all,only two songs, beyaz and kime ne,i felt that the rest of the songs are not made for her don't you agree??? also Ebru is well known for her arabesk songs that i like so much,but there weren't any pure arabesk i guess in the album!!!i'm so disappointed too after two years of waiting

Yes larosa, I absolutely agree with you! Most of those songs don't match her, especially the covers, they stand out in all. When I saw the names she got the songs from, the lyricists etc., I was so excited but... Btw, I thought those Sezen songs would be two fresh songs only to see that they are only covers

aha i knew aldirma deli gonul by sertab and i really liked it by sertab better than by Ebru!!!
same thing!!! whenever i see Sezen's name on a Cd cover i get so excited as i know all of her songs are perfect!! but when i listened to ebru's covers i thought that it didn't fit in at all!!
although in her previous albums the songs ahdim olsun,tukenecegiz hata and many more seemed so nice when ebru sang them i guess it is bad luck this time.

i listened to sen ve ben first and i hope the rest of the songs will be as good !!! may be better!! let's be greedy

Oh, that's easy to explain, canim - she's writing new songs for my forthcoming Turkish album. She's busy now with a duet that I'm about to sing with Harikabadayi (see the dedication thread) . I've just sent back her preliminary lyrics because these were too difficult. And she, sercem ve melegim, agreed they needed to be changed. Tatli of her, really. So, you see, Ebru could ONLY make covers.
