Maybe because I missed the point myself! And this song seemed so totally off as compared to one by Cartel or the music that you like

Did the memories of the black bra competition fade completely?

Safe1 (that ominous Greek guy!) started calling me his doc and thus he became my official ATL patient! He's moved to the Czech Republic recently and I'm worrying if he might want to visit me personally (Mashallah!)

Wide smile now, please! 'Cos it's time for Funda's spectacular walking devices

She's so beautiful in this clip that it hurts my eyes! Lucky Febyo!

Well, being a fan of blue-eyed blondes he should be so lucky, plus more importantly he's finally found a job there!

You're always welcome here, dostum! I only wonder if you find anything of interest here, especially after Istanbul...

Anyway - Don't forget to take a warm ceket with you! Even if you come in Summer (and this is not a joke )

    this song is soooo good:

So, perhaps, we could come back to this "True Spirit of the Sea" guy again?

His voice here is unbelievable! Tesekkürler Ercü-Ustam!

It even has grown on me since I posted it. And maybe Yağmur deserves more than a cookie for his great acting.

And Paul Orhan, I like Ferman's parts most too. As for being amazingly fast, I think I was fast last time coz I have special love for Model band.

This is irrelevant but...YAY! I'm really glad (and surprised) coz Can Bonomo will represent Turkey in ESC 2012. I'm 100% sure he'll do something interesting.

He sure will but I'm afraid this was a mistake as it won't bring Turkey any victory If Manga didn't make it then Can would be too "weird" for the ESC public...
Even if I send 100 sms for Turkey this won't help your case. I'm sure Hande would bring more votes and yield more interest in the Turkish music abroad.
But, hey Germany will surely "go Turkey" in their voting!

Maybe he won't be the winner but I'm not really sure if that matters for him. The good thing is while many Turks don't even know him TRT (Turkish Radio and Television Corporation) chose such a young & alternative musician for the contest. I think what matters is more Turks (and even European audiences) will learn/know about him and his İstanbul müziği.

I don't know about Hande but Murat Boz said he's not interested in it.

Well, the promotional aspect of this choice goes without saying. Victory might not matter to him much but it matters to me! Now that I know more about Turkish Artists, I just want Turkey to win! PErhaps TRT just doesn't want the victory as this involves huge money input in the year following victory. We'll see how it ends soon!

Hande's FB site urged all Hande's fans to vote for her in a special poll so I reckon she must have been interested, especially that her name comes up every year (almost just like Tarkan's).
Pity Murat doesn't want to go... One look at the mood thread here is a proof enough that he could be VERY successful among any audience.

    And the host country!

You know ESC has become our "national issue" over the years. (Which singer should we send this year? Turkish or English song? Turkish tunes or a European sound? What kind of choreography? ...) Of course we want to win, we're proud Turks after all. :P I think that's why TRT became more careful with its choices lately. (Hadise, MaNga, MvÖ, Athena etc) Honestly I believe it's a bit unfair to predict the result without even hearing his song. On the other hand maybe it's better not to take it too seriously as it's only a musical (and unfortunately political) show.

Ah sorry for the confusion, it's not our ESC song, (he said he's still working on some songs and most likely it will be English) it's just an acoustic version of his 2nd single.
