Veterinar
Po selu se čuje, priča, istina je prava:
Došao je veterinar za oplodnju krava.
Podiglo se cjelo selo, sve se čudom čudi:
Vetrinar kravu voli, poludjeli ljudi.
Pa on dođe babi Kati ''Bog pomogo bako,
Vaša krava treba bika, ja sam došo zato!''
Gleda baba i čudi se, nevolja velika:
Kako može vetrinar zamjeniti bika?
Ajde baba, gdje je krava, da ugradimo tele?
Tako kaže i navlači rukavice bijele.
S nevjericom baba gleda, za glavu se hvata:
Joj doktore, zar ćete mi bit po teletu tata?
Raširio doktor tkivo, ima dosta sprava,
A baba mu pravi mjesto da se zaletava.
Joj doktore, kako ćete kad nemate bika,
A krava je moja rašna i dosta velika!
Popet ću se na stolicu, dohvatiti mogu,
A vi ćete samo kravu držati za nogu.
Gleda baba i krsti se, vjerovat ne može:
Poldjelo cjelo selo, spašavaj nas Bože!
Ajde baba, gdje je krava, da ugradimo tele?
Tako kaže i navlači rukavice bijele.
S nevjericom baba gleda, za glavu se hvata:
Joj doktore, zar ćete mi bit po teletu tata?

The grandma watches him in awe, thinking "trouble is ahead":
how will he replace a bull?!

Alright grandma, where is the cow, to inplant the calf?
Tako kaže i navlači rukavice bijele.
That's what he says and puts on white gloves.
S nevjericom baba gleda, za glavu se hvata:
Joj doktore, zar ćete mi bit po teletu tata?
With unbelief the grandma watches, grabing her head [in confusion]:
Oh doctor, you aren't going to be the father to my calf, are you?!
Raširio doktor tkivo, ima dosta sprava,
The doctor spread the thing wide open [you know what lol], he has a lot of devices
A baba mu pravi mjesto da se zaletava.
And the grandma gives him space to work
Joj doktore, kako ćete kad nemate bika,
A krava je moja rašna i dosta velika!
Oh doctor, how will you do this when you have no bull
My cow(female) is wild and really big!
Popet ću se na stolicu, dohvatiti mogu,
I'll get up on a chair, I can reach
A vi ćete samo kravu držati za nogu.
And you will hold my leg.
Gleda baba i krsti se, vjerovat ne može:
Poldjelo cjelo selo, spašavaj nas Bože!
The grandma is watching, crossing herself [religiously], she cannot believe:
The entire village is on its feet, God help us!
Ajde baba, gdje je krava, da ugradimo tele?
Alright grandma, where is the cow, to implant the calf?

it is meant to be funny btw in case you are thinking "these serbians are nuts!"

Thanks! I thought that it isn't serious, but i'm just started to learn croatian, so i didn't understand some expressions (many of them..
) and i wasn't sure about the meaning of the song.. but it's great, thanks again
