could somebody explain me this part of the "yar-e dabestani-ye man" song:
khub agar khub, bad agar bad
what is it's relation to verses which lay immediate before and after?
i can not understand it properly in this context.

Before answering your question let me talk about this song.
Apparently, "Yar-e Dabestani-e Man" is one of our most political songs throughout history. It has been translated for so many times, but I think the best of them has been done by "Saya Ovaisy":

That line simply means "No matter what happened to us/our people".
That "Ruler" in the translation also refers to a "Tyranny who likes to teach the people what to do and what not to do".
