    Default Wake Up My Love

Yet another "struggle" that may not hit the mark at all. And this time I don't have a good handle on tune or style. The title has a double meaning, nothing hidden at all, just think about it.

    This is a story
    Of love's fallen glory
    When two dying hearts
    Tore each other apart
    Like two mating tigers
    In sensual delight
    A scream and a nightmare
    Of love drowned in spite

The best place to finish is at the beginning
Coz the end is enigma, just who was pretending
Or was it neither or both? What's there to decide
When nothing remains but two lovers who died
Their fall from the heavens didn't make a sound
Coz they were the biggest kept secret in town
I shouldn't be sad but it's hard to restrain
As I let the tears fall in unrequited rain

    This is a story
    of love's fallen glory
    Two dying hearts
    tore each other apart
But the dead are still walking
    It can't be the end
    Wake up you sleeper
    And breathe life again

You let hardness rule when it suited your needs
But now is the time to relinquish the greed
Step out of the darkness that clamps like a vise
Let childish love unbreak that cold heart of ice
This isn't a war as for whom the bell tolls
It's all for reviving two sweet loving souls
There's no other choice if we want to survive
The only way out is a slice of the knife

    This is a story
    of love's fallen glory
    Two dying hearts
    tore each other apart
But the dead are still walking
    It can't be the end
    Wake up you sleeper
    And breathe life again

    The dead are still walking
    It can't be the end
    Wake up my love
    And breathe life again
    Wake up my love
    And breathe life again
There is no glamour in sudden death, and nobody ever wins a war.

Thanks very much Hugo. I really struggled to turn this around and make the ending a little brighter than the beginning ... because I'm an optimist at heart? ... and the final chorus was the result.

This is a really cool line "The best place to finish is at the beginning"

Thanks, and it didn't present itself till I'd struggled with the intro+chorus for 30 minutes or more. So maybe it came partly from the frustration of writing the first few lines? lol

Lol Now I want to write a song about frustration, or being stuck. Wait, Stacie Orrico beat me to it. Grr!

Yeah. Thatīs my attitude too. Dark beginning and lighter end with a hope

I think adding 1 more verse to this lyrics will make this more better.... because for rap, lyrics need to be little longer .... using this lyrics one can sing a rap song for maximum 2:00 or 2:30 mins only , but I think songs minimum length should be at-least 3 mins...
see if you can add few more lines

sorry lol all I think about is presenting feeling in the form of rap XD ... so felt like this piece of lyrics can be used as rap lyrics XD
I like alternative rap in which rap is not about gangsta life/money, its about feelings , good things etc...
