it is like grass that endures the hardest winter
and feels soft under the feet
after a cooling rainshower in spring
    when you, Bijan,
took the shape of an owl
    nestling in an oaktree,
    the symbol of wisdom,
I knew that life had found a new source

What a beautiful poem my VDOF. You always amaze me with you words and kindness. How can I give it back to you. All these months, both of us have been through different problems, but we keep our friendship. Now we can celebrate our friendship and leave all of those problems behind. Once again, I want to thank you.

I love this part so very much:

For me it's very joyful, cuz no matter what will happen, I will remain a boy (naughty boy to be exact).

The combination of 2 and 7 is very beautiful. So, maybe that is the reason behind it.

seismologists have proven that eating such a birthdaycake can shake the pilars of the earth

meteorologists have explained why birthdaycake can fertilize soil: it turns green

philosophers claim it can evoke anarchism: sweet, obeying owls turn into emo owls

whilst amarita thinks these people are all just raving mad :crazy:fun:

So nice to see some Brazilian customs in this VeryPersian thread!
In Brazil you offer your birthday guests presents on your birthday rather than receive them - it's a small price to "pay" for their remembering and loving you, which is priceless .

    Owles,
I'd like to thank you for the beautiful gift you chose for me! You know all too well that Dariush is special to me!

    PS.
And what a nice and subtle allusion in the title

that's why Bijan is Owl of Owls: when it comes to breaking the darkness of the night: hasn't he too consoled us and cheered us up
