Keep Your Eyes On The Sky (working title)

The message of this is hard to explain, but maybe it's one that is better left to the reader to decipher. Btw it's a poem, not a lyric.

SUN EXITS SKY

Sun exits sky
But there's still light
It's beneath my hands
Dirt beneath my nails, clouds
Even minus Sun
Moon not yet allowed

Face drops left eye
Right left behind
So it may still cry
For the one that died
Until it's forever covered
Patch over it
Like a pirate

Why, spirit, why?
Why do you wish I hide?
I'm not a right eye
Not a moon in the sky
Sigh

Sun exits sky
And all left eyes die
Enter moon, enter right side
And all left eyes fry
Even minus Sun

Even minus Sun
Perhaps there's still light
Right beneath my hands
Right beneath my eyes
Left beneath my eyes

I just love reading your songs. I don't know how you do it? Object writing a song - awesome. I tried it but the object rolled off the table <= just kidding.. This comes real close to some of the stuff I heard from 1960 hippies while they were on acid. We got some of the best songs and music ever created then. You just keep comming up with the great ones. Good to see you again! I hope all is well.

Sorry I didn't reply right away... I had alot going on over the course of the past week. I'm so happy you enjoyed it! This is one my favorite things I've written. I'll keep 'em coming just as long as I can.
