Children sing and dance while they play
Come with me and join in the big parade
Plenty of lemonade
Candy floss ready-made
Sing and dance the whole of the night away
Come on it's Carnival Day
Each house gets an extra coat of paint
Even Molly Brown looks like what she ain't
There's so much to be seen
Dancing with the Carnival Queen
Come with me and join in the big parade
Plenty of lemonade
Candy floss ready-made
Sing and dance the whole of the night away
Come on it's Carnival Day
In this little town I know
Even we'll be back for next year's show
Hearts are happy and gay
When they remember Carnival Day
Come with me and join in the big parade
Plenty of lemonade
Candy floss ready-made
Sing and dance the whole of the night away
Come on it's Carnival Day
I'm guessing the title is "Carnival Day". There are lots of songs on ITunes (and elsewhere on the internet) with this title, but none of them are this song, so perhaps I have the title wrong. Does anybody know the title, the singer, the year, and if a digital recording of this is out there somewhere?
