Default [Chinese] Song & Artist: looking for her latinized name

    Hi there,

this heartfelt song from 2007 popped up on another forum:
    http://www.xiami.com/song/play?ids=/...lt/object_id/0

Very nice voice, but apparently no known singer? She doesn't even have a Wikipedia page or some sort. All I find is a wagonload of mp3 playing links

Her chinese stage name is 风中叮咛.
So who is this? Anyone actually widely known in China?

Judging from this CD cover, I think her Latinized name is Feng Zhong Ding Ning, but I fear that might be the name of the song.

Yes, her chinese stage name is 风中叮咛 (Feng Zhong Ding Ning). The real name of the singer is 杜雯媞 (Du Wen Ti), her nickname is 杜鹃 (Du Juan), her English name is "Windy" )))

I'm Chinese, but I don't think she is a famous singer.

    非常感谢!
I had a suspicion that you had to be native Chinese to know anything about this artist - let alone her English stage name -, since this question was (admittedly) really difficult to answer. (But mine do tend to be very difficult, since I can usually find out about the easy ones by myself )

"Windy"? Ah...quite a long way from 风中叮咛 to Windy then, hehe ...

Thanks a lot for your help.

    You're welcome )))

Aha, "风" is "wind" in Chinese. So it seems to me quite natural that 风中叮咛 named herself as "Windy", it fits well )))
