Can you find this song ?

Hello everyone,

Well well, all it's about a song that I want to retrieve the title and the name of singer. Unfortunately (and I'm embarrassed to say : ( ) I don't have a lot of info to give except :

- there are violins in the music, a same short melody repeated during the refrain. (If I remember, the singer repeat the same sentence but what...I don't remember clearly)
- it's a man who sings : calmly with melancholy (especially during) like those passion songs
- It's not recent I think, maybe late 90's or 2000's but not sure
- the rhythm is low
- And think it's american

Sorry to have just this to say,but after long research in vain I thought that several brains are better than my tiny one. I heard it on radio but I couldn't hear the name. Don't hesitate to answer something, it's always welcome.
