    Welcome back !

You are kinda beautiful nation there I have to admit...
    But...
There is no comparison to where I live right now... and its nearby countries...

Not that this is an advantage though, because "looks" is not enough of course....
Can't make such a difference if it's not accompanied by other things...

Yes, I agree: they could learn something about presentation of their stuff- but this happy chaos is so thoroughly Greek!
Here's a French duet for you

I avoided visiting Mykonos 'till my late 34-35... (can you imagine this? A native Greek born and raised in Athens never visited Mykonos until he got 34-35 years old...and it's only an about 3 ? hours trip...with the fast lines...)
I did that on purpose...My excuse was that "I don't want to visit the island which turned out to be the beloved destination of g..s

Then I had a proposal from my close friends to go there just for a weekend (it was during September).

I can tell only one thing:

Budget can be an issue at Mykonos as it is slightly more expensive island than the rest BUT,
once I went there, I couldn't stop keep going...

Something that didn't happen with any other Greek island (except Paros and Antiparos, because they are both beautiful and budget friendly...)

Mykonos is OVERestimated and UNDERestimated at the same time Amaryn. I can assure you of that.
    It's really worth it...

Now, having lost any contact with her, I can only hope she's doing fine and on the road to personal success, both in her private and professional life! For as Rumi once said:

@ Safe , I WAS on Mykonos - surrounded by a crowd of overenthusiastic American tourists cruising towards Istanbul and Alexandria....
I hit the wrong day- and the wrong company.
I 'll keep your remark in mind the next time- but many of the islands you mentioned before are much more attractive, I think

Two of the best portuguese voices and artists. Unfortunatly, Beto left us two years ago.

    "Playing with fire". A hit.

@Patricia I The Awesome - your duet rocks, Your Majesty!

The way they sing sounds very Brazilian. O fogo, although very subtly, is there in their voices

Here's something for the person who was afraid of going to Mykonos.

    OMG Really????

You know what? I'll tell ya a story.

When we were coming back from Brazil to Poland in 1978 we made a short tour of Europe. Portugal came first (obviously Sao Paulo- Lisboa route operated by the amazing VARIG). One evening in Lisboa, we were standing with my mother and sister on a bus-stop and I - 8 y/o & absolutely fluent in Portuguese Brazilian - was listening to people talk and then asked my mother:
    - Muuuuum, what language are these people speaking???
    - Portuguese, of course!- came the answer.
    - No, Mum, this isn't Portuguese. For I can't understand a single word!!!!

This dialogue was done in Brazilian and a few people on the bus stop roared with laughter after my remark
