I didn't mean the thread of, course, but our off-topic branch of the thread! Also, I wasn't referring to Nissim, but to the Israeli musicologist who wrote the book about Israeli music together with Motti Regev!

Actually, right now I'm not listening to anything! In fact, this week I've got lots to do at work (which means that I might not check in as frequently), so I'm trying to get things together for tomorrow. But I'll post a real cute clip with a young Sharif (and Yehuda Keysar in his black hat!)

I suspect you can't put the hebrew vowels in, so if you don't mind, the hebrew, the transliteration and the english.....not too much work Bateli Then, you need to videotape the dance to go with it No just kidding.

Actually, the english is the least important, I just want to be able to sing the songs.

I've already translated them...I'll edit that post and add transliteration and send it to you.
It's not too much work..it's my pleasure steve.
I'm not sure they've invented a dance for it but I'm sure they will and you'll probably know about it before me.

    NOW - IDAN AMEDI
    ach'shav - Idan Amedi

    Now it's a clean slate
    ach'shav hadaf chalak
    Now it's progressing
    ach'shav zeh mitkadem
    Now it's happening
    ach'shav zeh koreh
    Now it's here
    ach'shav zeh kan
    Now we're revealing the cards
    ach'shav pot'chim et haklafim
    Now it's hurting

    Now I stop discouraging myself
    ach'shav mafsik et atsmi le'ya'esh
    It's shown in the eyes,
    ro'eem ba'enayim
    In the eyes
    ba'enayim

    Now it's a clean slate
    ach'shav hadaf chalak
    Now it gets complicated
    ach'shav zeh mistabech
    Now it's going away
    ach'shav zeh holech
    Now I'm collecting the sounds
    ach'shav osef et ha'tslilim
    I'm sealing them tight

    Now it's different
    ach'shav zeh shoneh

I'm already lighting my own fire

    Now I'm battling the water

    ach'shav ani kan tso'ek
    All the silences

    It's in the eyes
    zeh ba'enayim

    Now it's all over,
    ach'shav hakol nigmar
    I'm chewing up the lies
    lo'es et hashkarim
    Now the mouth is full
    ach'shav hapeh maleh
I'm throwing the script to the trash
    zorek et hatasrit lapach
To whom does it matter anymore?
    lemi ach'shav hou kvar meshaneh

Throw away / Tashlich Performer: Idan Amedi

Alone, amongst a lot of people
    levad, ben hamon anashim
    Who applaud to themselves
    shemocha'eem le'atsmam kapayim
    It's probably contagious
    ze kanir'eh medabek me'echad lasheni
Dancing, we're all a bit lost
    rokdim, kulanu ktsat avoudim
    Sipping a little more wine
    logmim ode tipa me'hayayin
    It takes away the pain
    zeh mashkiach et hake'evim

I remember my brother whispering to me
    zocher achi lochesh li
    "Throw away all attempts
    tashlich et kol hanisyonot
    Throw away all angers
    tashlich et kol hake'asim
    To the water
    el hamayim
    Throw away wars
    tashlich et hamilchamot
    Throw away all reflections
    tashlich et kol hahirhoorim
    To the sky
    el ha'shamayim
    Throw away all the lies
    tashlich et kol hashkarim
Throw away ,my brother, throw away"
    tashlich achi tashlich

From the side, it's easier to peep
    batsad kal yoter le'hatseets
On things that that skipped over us
    al hadvarim shedilgou aleinu
    I run away fast
    maher ani bore'ach
    Suddenly it's frightening
    pit'om zeh mafchid
To the car, I don't really have goals
    lamechonit, ein li mamash ye'adim
I drive, on the radio I hear
    ani nose'a baradio shome'a
Another song the night reminds (me)
    ode shir she'halayla mazkir

    My brother saying to me
    et achi omer li
    "Throw away all attempts
    tashlich et kol hanisyonot
    Throw away all angers
    tashlich et kol hake'asim
    To the water
    el hamayim
    Throw away wars
    tashlich et hamilchamot
    Throw away all reflections
    tashlich et kol hahirhoorim
    To the sky
    el ha'shamayim
    Throw away all the lies
    tashlich et kol hashkarim
Throw away ,my brother, throw away"
    tashlich achi tashlich

In the sea, darkness and I
    bayam, hachoshech ve'ani
Watching the waves in the meantime
    tsofim al hagalim, beintayim
    It's one twenty (PM)
    hasha'a achat ve'esrim
    Crying
    bochim

From a far my brother shouts at me
    merachok achi tso'ek li
    "Throw away all attempts
    tashlich et kol hanisyonot
    Throw away all angers
    tashlich et kol hake'asim
    To the water
    el hamayim
    Throw away wars
    tashlich et hamilchamot
    Throw away all reflections
    tashlich et kol hahirhoorim
    To the sky
    el ha'shamayim
    Throw away all the lies
    tashlich et kol hashkarim

Hello friends! I've been away from this thread... I have a lot to listen

    [cl-DuXcZ6qY]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cl-DuXcZ6qY&feature=channel_video_title[/video]

Here's something fresh, a wonderful cover from Sarit Hadad of the MAGNIFICENT Harel Skaat ^^

    THIS PAIN

    There's pain
    that settles in the heart
hour by hour, it doesn't leave me for a moment
I see well all that you think
you're no longer ready to undertake (it.)

And it hurts and it pains
when you look in my eyes
yes it is known but why
the pain is actually my life.

I still remember that you swore forever
    when you got nearer
and connect straight to my heart
I still choose only you, the (only) one
when the heart is so starved
one learns to live with the pain.

There's pain, when you don't get excited
when there's no choice, it's nice even to grieve
you no longer love me, all night you hang out
you don't dry my tears for some time now.

And it hurts and it pains
when you look in my eyes
yes it is known but why
the pain is actually my life.

I still remember that you swore forever
when you got nearer and connect straight to my heart
I still choose only you, the (only) one
when the heart is so starved
one learns to live with the pain.

Chen Aharoni who came 4th is a lot more successful than him, not to mention Harel Ska'at's amazing career.
I'm trying to console myself. Please don't interrrupt me.
I need some "sad me" time. kidding .....

For me the show is over.
I don't really care who wins.

Best of luck to your favorite artist.

That's true... Where's Moyal? Does he have a new album or something? I actually like "Levadi" is a wonderful album... But he doesn't have the charism and stage presence that Skaat has
