Have you ever came across a really great poem online? I sometimes search poems on google and alot of anonymous beautiful poems come up.. Some poems I have came across really describe the exact feelings of my heart! Amazing.. I'd like to introduce a Russian poetess Natalia Nikiforova in my translations.

Happiness

She’s running to her mascot,
Enamoured,
Bewinged!
She is just seventeen,
So youthful
And cheerful!
And her freckled felicity,
So ginger
Witch-knots,
Has been waiting impatiently
And will get his reward!
Happiness is approaching,
Personal only,
So kindred!
They’ll laugh when they meet!

Unconsidered!

The wishes will sure come true

The wishes will sure come true.
I close my eyes to see myself
Embracing again with you
Drawn closer by a thunder yelp.

The skies are frowning, pouring rain,
We tremble with cold or with fear
We are getting so close again…
I open my eyes - you are near.

Wish happiness to each other

Wish happiness to each other,
Tenderness and the good
Don’t spare concern to the brother
Or stranger you’ve met in the wood.
Don’t count the housewarmings!
Forgive everybody’s faults
And then cold winter’s yearnings
Will blossom with spring defaults!

You are not lonely

It’s difficult, depressingly, I see,
Your soul bursts to pieces aching
And so lonely you feel
Your fruitless efforts are painstaking.

You have nobody to release the pain,
To share your joy, or just to bide the time
And I am uninvited by the way
Have come to you with my imperfect rhyme.

I dedicate to you this verse
Ushing away your woe
It will very soon disperse,
Because I am lonely too.
