    Gökhan Doğanay - Çeker Giderim

    Nedir bana bunca ettiğin cefa
Her gün ayrı dert oldun sen bu başıma
İstedin de vermedim mi bu canı sana
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim
    Ceketimi omuzuma atar giderim

    Benimle hiç mutlu olamadınsa
    Aradıklarını bende bulamadınsa
    Gözümde bu sevdamın değeri yoksa
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim

    Aramızda sevgi saygı bittiyse
En tatlı sözlerim sana acı geldiyse
Bundan sonra eğer böyle devam ederse
    Ceketimi omuzuma atar giderim
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim

    Benimle hiç mutlu olamadınsa
    Aradıklarını bende bulamadınsa
    Gözünde bu aşkımın değeri yoksa
    Bende azraile kafa tutar giderim

Much love for anyone willing to help me out
would appreciate it very much xx

Hi Sandra, I'll try it, and hope someone can fix any mistakes.

    Çeker Giderim // I'll Leave

Nedir bana bunca ettiğin cefa // What are these torments/cruelties you've done to me?
Her gün ayrı dert oldun sen bu başıma // Every day you became a different worry to this head of mine
İstedin de vermedim mi bu canı sana // You wanted (it) and didn't I give you this soul?
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim // This love is a grave in me, I'll fire the bullet* and go*
Ceketimi omuzuma atar giderim // I'll put my jacket on my shoulder and go

Benimle hiç mutlu olamadınsa // If you weren't happy with me at all
Aradıklarını bende bulamadınsa // If you didn't find what you were looking for in me
Gözümde bu sevdamın değeri yoksa // If this love of mine isn't worth anything in my eye (? this makes more sense to me if it says "gözünde"- in your eye)
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim // This love is a grave in me, I'll fire the bullet and go

Aramızda sevgi saygı bittiyse // If love and respect finished between us
En tatlı sözlerim sana acı geldiyse // If my sweetest words hurt you
Bundan sonra eğer böyle devam ederse // After this if it continues this way
Ceketimi omuzuma atar giderim // I'll put my jacket on my shoulder and I'll go
Bende bu aşk kabir kurşun sıkar giderim // This love is a grave in me, I'll fire the bullet and go

Benimle hiç mutlu olamadınsa // If you weren't happy with me at all
Aradıklarını bende bulamadınsa // If you didn't find what you were looking for in me
Gözünde bu aşkımın değeri yoksa // If this love of mine had no worth in your eye
Bende azraile kafa tutar giderim // I'll also defy Azrael and go

*I'm not sure about this line...and to say "fire a bullet"...would you need to say "kurşunu sıkmak"?

    Corrections appreciated as always.

    Gozunde fits better I agree.

About firing its a kind of weird, in english its "to fire a gun" right? We mention bullets or other parts of guns more then a gun itself.
    Kursun sikmak
    Tetik ezmek
    Mermi yakmak
Sarjor bosaltmak ........ This is used for fast and many shots

and the main idea is ates etmek.

And I don't know if its typed wrong or if it is another play with sounds but think this too:
Bende bu aska bir kursun sikar giderim.

Partizanka you are somewhere between "learning" turkish and "being" turkish.

Right, I think in English they say just "fire a gun". And now I've learnt some new gun vocabulary. Thanks.

Ahhh, I didn't even think of that, but the line seemed strange to me the way it was written. This makes a lot more sense this way. (Sandra, I think this would change the line to mean "I'll also fire a bullet on love and go.")

Partizanka you are somewhere between "learning" turkish and "being" turkish.
Thank you, Ercü. I've recently seen some good advice on learning/becoming Turkish quickly.
