i'm 14 and i like to write raps but some of these words like assertive i have heard but never used do u like read dictionaries or somethin i need to expand my vocabulary

Nah never payer attention in school. I've always been a good writer though. To me it came naturally (I pay attention to language) finding the quirks in the sounds of each words and things like that, just interests me. But you can develope that, listen to a lot of hip hop

alright thanks i've tried reading a dictionary but... half of those words are completely useless to me i want more wordplay but not like you gotta look up every word to understand what i'm trying to say

Being on here an seeing how we use words will help too. But dawg ha a dictionary is extreem. You want to have a 'colorful' vocab but you don't want to sound like you're forcing it. You gotta find that medium. If u need definitions for some words hit me up
