What is This "Mystery" Song?

I heard a song the other day that I have heard occasionally. I know nothing about it but I'll tell you what I can, and any help ID-ing it is appreciated.

The music is smooth, gentle and romantic-sounding. It just sounds like a beautiful song.
The chorus line repeats something like "Deseret" or "Deseree" - that's what it sounds like, but not sure exactly what it is.

If I get any help I'll try to find it on You Tube and confirm that it's the song.

No - it's neither of the above songs but thanks for suggestions. Checked them on You Tube.

Again, the chorus line repeats something like "Deseret" or "Deseree" - with a long A sound at the end of the word. It is not "desire" with the long I sound.

I'm guessing it's a cover version of Neil Diamond's "Desiree" ... not that I know of any.

No - it's not Neil Diamond's song "Desiree" - I am familiar with that one.

Perhaps the word at end of chorus line isn't "Desiree" but something that sounds like it. I am just putting forth what it sounds like to me.

The melody is "smooth" - reminds me of K.D. Lang's music - but it's not one of her songs. I am also thinking that it's possibly sung by a group.

bugmenot1 - I am "almost sure" it is DANCE AWAY by Roxy Music - after listening to it a few times, it has to be it. I say this with 99.9% certainty, and not 100% only because I knew so little about the song - only what fleetingly sounded like "Desiree."

Note: Interesting Laura Nyro version of "Desiree" - I have loved Laura Nyro for decades - had a few of her 33 1/3 RPM albums from back in the day - think they're around here somewhere gathering dust. I recognize that song as a 50s "Doo-***" song - can't remember the group that recorded it, but definitely have that version running through my head. (Anyone?)
