Why can't I say I'm lying?

Shooting, for a life where I'm done
Done losing, where anyone else would've won
Wondering, if nothing ever is enough

I say I'm trying
Say I'm confident
I say I'm okay
Say I'm not scared
Say all this bull**** I say
Why can't I say I'm dying?
And why can't I say I don't really care?

Short, but beautifully written with a good concept It's easy to relate to because at some point everyone goes through it. Nice job. I'd love to see you expand on this.
Just a point: it's lying not lieing, and dying not dieing. Sorry, I'm a bit pedantic when it comes to spelling!
