I don't need to understand, I just need to hold his hand

I know that Jimmy Swaggart had this song on a very old album.Probably in the 70's. I am trying hard to find it for my Grandfather that is very ill and soon to pass away. I can't remember all of it and want and need it so badly.
Someone please help.
I know that during the song, Jimmy Swaggart would kind of talk and say often times when the Doctor would say there is nothing more we can do, then we would remember Jesus and the song.
It goes like this,

I don't need to understand, I just need to hold his hand,
I don't ever need to ask the reason why.
