    Smile Confession

    Betrayed by this miserable life
    To live two lives
    Apparently different but yet perfect
It's hard to understand why I do not belong
Neither to day neither to night,
Neither to life neither to death.

    I listen to my heartbeat
Sometimes I smell the scent of perdition
    Yes, that's me, a sinner
I can not say no to temptation
But I regret when everything ends.

    And I take the sin
Even if I know that anything has a repercussion
I will be the one who suffers
For something that I liked, even if it was not good.

    Memorable, perhaps unwanted
It is to live in two ways
Fooling the world that everything is perfect
To be fearless but still to have a phobia
To be happy but apparently to cry in solitude
To have a thousand friends but in reality to be a loner.
To have all you want but ultimately to have nothing
Than a miserable destiny that he must go to the end.

    Floryn, dear:

The English construction is: "neither..., nor..." and it already has a negation in itself so it shoud rather be:
"I belong neither to a day nor to a night," etc.

I like your poem a lot!

First - Thanks for liking my poem. Second - I wanted to express the negation more powerful, to repeat her.

Your poetic intention hasn't escaped my attention but still ... grammar is grammar, right?

Anyway, keep posting your stuff, please, it's thought-provoking and inspiring!
