Well, "I lose my temper" for "Padne mi mrak na oci" ... ok, but you can google the expration "darkness fell upon my eyes" and I think it's quite similar with Serbian one. "My face darkened" (smrknulo se) may sound good too.
Lose your temper - to fail to control your anger, but "padne ti mrak na oci" I think is not connected with anger, rather - something has shocked you or you are unpleasantly surprised, your mind stopped working for a moment (pomracenje), like you were about to faint, and then you came back to your senses... but "to darken" is the best translation maybe.
