Excuse me... first, I'm neither Japanese nor Chinese...

Say, does it written like this :

    "Ai" (Japanese) means = Love...
Chinese (Mandarin) also has same pronunciation ("Ai" also means love) written :

ex: wo ai ni (chinese) = i love u.

Actually, there is a very easy method to find out about every Hanzi, but unfortunately, your link does not work.

Is it maybe the simplified chinese character for ai?
    For example
    Traditional Hanzi: 愛
    Simplified Hanzi: 爱
    眩しいでした ヾ(≧∇≦)ゞ チガウゥ
    o(^-^)o
