why did u translate : di sfuggita as : briefly ?

"Di sfuggita" means quickly, briefly or something similar. It's usually used as "vedere qualcosa di sfuggita/incontrare qualcuno di sfuggita"= "catch a glimpse of sth/ meet briefly sb".
