    Because I'm interested in Icelandic language and I'd like to find someone who can help me with the basic stuff
    I heard that Icelandic is the hardest language in Europe and one of the hardest languages in the world. And when i checked Wikipedia about grammar rules, well I believe it is!
    But that can not stop me Ég elska íslenska tungu

    Icelandic people? anyone?

    This may be a bit late, but if you want to learn Icelandic I warmly recommend a site called www.italki.com, there you can find language exchange partners and learn the language for free. But I also strongly recommend that you get your hands on a book and some practice CD's, they are essential if you really want to learn it and progress more quickly. Good luck!

    I've heard it's English, because of the so many borrowed words from other languages and different pronunciations, but there's so many others that seem hard. I think Chinese and Russian would be really hard, just to name a few.
