Heard a song in gym class...had trumpet melody

Hey my gym teacher played a song that had a kindof latin sounding trumpet melody throught the whole song. In between the trumpets a man would sing then a girl would sing.trumpets were upbeat.im guessing it was alternative genre...its not the crappy club/house music.it sounds like a more recent song and it was all in english
