Nice one Zantenian.
But there's one thing I wanna ask.
Is it Can't or Can "we change mentality", cause I find
"If we fear the wrong things,
can we change mentality?"
much more understandable...
"Gilgamesh, where are you hurrying to?
You will never find that life for which you are looking.
When the gods created man they allotted to him death,
but life they retained in their own keeping"
I love the four times repetition at the end,good job,Zak!
Amethyste, I used the negative-interrogative form of can for more emphasis. In Greek you might notice the difference easier:
Αν φοβόμαστε τα λάθος πράματα,
Δεν μπορούμε να αλλάξουμε νοοτροπία;
...Obviously, the mentality of some people is one of the wrong things that I mentioned in the song.
Very nice Zakynthos!! (sorryyyy i misspelled your name in my original post)
It flows amazingly well, and i believe another finishing touch is "You're guilty if you give up here." Those are just two of many things that i love about this.
@Amethystos, before i read Zakynthos' response i was gonna say that there is an idiosyncrasy in English whereas "Can't we" is correct, it's like saying "Why can't we" and it's very common to use that form in a situation where we believe that the obvious answer is yes, we can
PS, Zakynthos ofc i think you also explained it perfectly in more technical language![]()
